Welcome to Acorn Class
‘Acorns’ is the Reception Class here at All Saints. In Acorns we work to a play based curriculum which is focused on various different topics during the year, for example transport, fairy tales and superheroes. These topics are chosen around children’s interests and are developed to meet individual children’s needs.
We like to work as a team in partnership with parents, to work together to provide a happy and supportive environment for the children to learn in. We have high levels of expectations for the children and believe that they need to feel safe and secure within the learning environment in order to be able to learn.
The children have the opportunity daily to work and play both in the indoor and outdoor areas. In addition to this we make use of the environmental area, field and playgrounds as well as going on welly walks around Montacute.
Acorn class is a very bright, busy and happy class.
