Pupil Premium

The Pupil Premium was was introduced in April 2011 for children from low-income families who were eligible for free school meals, or pupils who have been registered for free school meals at any point in the last six years (known as ‘Ever 6 FSM’). A Premium is also allocated for looked after children and those from families with parents in the Armed Forces.

It is for schools to decide how the Pupil Premium is spent, since they are best placed to assess what additional provision should be made for the individual pupils within their responsibility. Schools are, however, accountable for how they have used this additional funding to support these pupils.

This document ensures that parents and others are made fully aware of the attainment of pupils covered by the premium and how we have used the premium to support this group of pupils.

At All Saints Church of England Primary School we have

  • 3% entitled to Free School Meals (FSM), 2% Ever 6
  • 18 % with parents in the Armed Forces.

The impact on attainment is monitored by Teachers and the Headteacher. Reports are made to the Governing Body. Alongside this the School Finance Manager completes a full audit of accounts to show how the money has been spent.
